Registration Fees

All players must pay a $25 annual membership fee to the national AYSO office (the registration system will automatically add this to your cart when you register a player).  This fee is separate from your regional registration fees, which are listed below. This fee is Non-refundable.

8U through 19U Divisions

Single season (Fall OR Spring): $60 regional fee, plus $25 annual membership fee.

Playground, Schoolyard & 6U Programs

Single season (Fall OR Spring): $35 regional fee, plus $25 annual membership fee.

EPIC Program
Single season (Fall OR Spring): $25 annual membership fee only.

Fall players who return in the spring will receive a uniform discount and will not receive a new one unless requested and pay the $15 fee to get a new jersey, and will not be charged the annual membership fee

***Any late registration is subject to shipping and handling charges for overnight shipping of uniform.***

What does the registration fee include?  All players will receive a matching team uniform, consisting of jersey (with approved AYSO Logo), and socks.  During spring season, only new players (not returning fall players) will receive a new uniform.  Returning fall players may purchase a new uniform for an additional fee.  Your registration fees also help cover the costs of field maintenance (paint, mowing, goals, nets, trash cans, etc), equipment (soccer balls, cones, and pinnies for practice), and training and equipment/uniform costs for our volunteer coaches and referees.

Registration Regulations

1.  Teams will be formed to assure proper balance of teams within each age division (i.e. there will be no "A String" and "B String" teams).

2.  Coaches may only specify to have their own children on their team, provided they are within the proper age range for the division the parent is coaching.

3.  We will do our best to place siblings on the same team, IF they are eligible for the same age division.  Player divisions are made according to age and skill level, and there can be vast size and skill differences between age groups that make it unsafe for children to play in an age division other than their own.  While there are circumstances under which children may play up an age division, 8U age players that play up in the 10U division are not eligible to participate in tournaments.

4.  Every player on every team must play at least one-half of every game (though in Grant we expect each player to play three-quarters of every game if team size allows during regular season play).

5.  The highest standards of conduct and good sportsmanship, consistent with the AYSO philosophies, must be maintained at all times by players, volunteers, and spectators.

6.  Offensive, insulting, or abusive language, the consumption of alcoholic beverages, the use of tobacco products or smoking, or simulating smoking or the use of tobacco products, at Regional-sponsored events whenever children are present, is forbidden.

7. All players must wear shin guards and appropriate footwear (not provided with uniform) for practice and games.  Appropriate footwear includes athletic shoes or cleats that cover the entire foot.
